Story Bluff is a local party game designed to be played in person with friends. We respect your privacy and limit data collection to what is necessary for gameplay.

Information We Collect

Username: A name chosen by the player to identify themselves in a game.
Stories: Short stories written by players, shared only with participants in the same game.

How We Use Information

Usernames and stories are only used within private game sessions to enable gameplay. We do not use this information for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

Data Retention

During active games, stories are stored on our server and linked to the username you provide. This is necessary for gameplay so that stories can be revealed and scored correctly. These stories are not associated with any personal identity beyond the chosen username, and they are deleted automatically when the game ends. Usernames may also be cached locally on your device for convenience. We do not permanently store or share this information outside of active games.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Security

Games are private and require a code to join. There is no public matchmaking, chat, or voice communication.

Children’s Privacy

Story Bluff is suitable for all ages, but children under 13 should play under adult supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
